Music is a universal language. With music, people can communicate across cultural and linguistic boundaries. Metro Vocal Group, an American A Cappella group based in Hong Kong, experienced a surge of popularity in town when they released a cover version of Beyond’s Under A Vast Sky in their first Chinese album. Hong Kong singer Hacken Lee also invited them for collaboration on a competition program, I Am a Singer. Since debut, Metro Vocal Group has produced numerous successful versions of popular mainstream songs, surprising the audience with their powerful arrangement of combining modern A Cappella with American traditional Barbershop music.
